The Homestead

As I like to call it, a homestead, in reality we sit on an acre. We are in our third year here and early on I complained about not having the property that I wanted  I grew a small garden our first year and it did well. My in-laws brought us a load of composted cow manure last fall and this year we doubled the garden size and WOW the  garden exploded!! That goes to show that it is not the size of the lot but how you use it!!  It is all possible, and it is more possible to grow a vast quantity of the food you and your family eat and have control of what chemicals go in to its growth or don't
