WHAT IS A CSA?
Here’s how Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) works:
A farm offers a certain number of “shares” of its produce to consumers, who pay a flat rate at the beginning of a growing season. The members then receive a share of the farm’s food regularly (usually weekly) throughout the season; in this way, the members share the risks and benefits of growing food with the farm owners.
PICK UP DAYS and COMMUNICATIONS
CSA shares are picked up weekly. Tuesday and Friday 4:30PM - 8:00PM
It is the Share owner's responsiblity to arrange pick up day and time during set pickup times. Shares not picked up at pickup times without making other arrangements will be forfeited. All produce is picked fresh the day of pickup
Share owners also receive periodic email newsletters with more details on the farm, the vegetables coming that week, and recipes on how to use the produce.
CSA SEASON AND CONTAT INFO
The CSA season starts with spring crops such as greens, peas, chives and quickly becomes more abundant with summer squash, tomatoes, garlic, potatoes, green beans, cucumbers and more!
Members can expect all their favorite seasonal vegetables, some unique varieties plus kitchen herbs. .
Members also receive a periodic email newsletters to keep members informed of farm happenings and share recipes for new ideas on preparing the delicious vegetablesl from us and a list of produce expected in the share upcoming weeks.
As with all vegetable CSAs, quantity and variety of the share will vary throughout the season based on the time of year.
We not only like plants but people. Getting to know our CSA members is one of the perks of being a small CSA.

MEMBER RISK
Important Note re: Member Risk: It is important to note that as a CSA Shareholder, you are taking on a portion of the farm’s risk. If the growing season doesn’t cooperate, the member may not receive as much produce as expected. (We have only seen this once in 20 years of growing when we lost half of our tomato crop to blight.) Even after 2019’s wet spring and inability to use our main field, we still provided weekly shares to all of our members!!
If you are interested in eating healthy and not breaking ground on a garden. If you want to buy locally grown vegetables free of chemicals, then, contact us to sign up for your share of our CSA.
